I've heard it said that one is an item, two is a pair and three is a collection. When you put things in a grouping of three or more, they can become very interesting; especially when you vary the shapes, sizes and colors. Ahh the bookshelf. One of my favorite things to decorate. Books are not only functional in that they can create height, they also show a lot about the people who live in the home.
